As part of a collaborative UI/UX team, I helped design a modern application for a top-tier talent agency, blending sleek functionality with the client’s refined Art Deco-inspired brand. I helped to develop the visual system, including color palettes, UI components, microanimations, and a consistent icon set for the dashboard and departments to ensure a cohesive and intuitive user experience.

Beyond the utility navigation, I developed uniquely styled icons for each talent department, ensuring consistency with the broader design system.

Icon Style Ideation

The brand already had an Art Deco influence, so I leaned into that aesthetic and developed a range of concepts, from abstract to more representational.

Expanding on the preferred style, I created additional department-specific icons that reflect their roles while keeping a cohesive look and feel across the set.

Shape & Color Ideation

To complement the sleek, modern aesthetic, I explored a wide range of color gradients and geometric shapes. This process involved experimenting with gradient meshes, color pairings, and custom forms to develop a cohesive visual language for icons, badges, and UI elements.

Microinteractions

I also designed and animated microinteractions to refine the app’s states and transitions. Built in After Effects and Figma, these included subtle looping animations and gradient, color, and icon-based effects, all exported into the working prototype.
